The Old Folks Home

Hatching pro's I need some advice please! I just got my first turkey egg and she laid it is the mud. I would like to know if it is still hatchable?

Thank you

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. If you had a few more you'd be better off. Don't forget to set chicken eggs a week into incubating this so the turkeys have tutors. They're very stupid. How come your turkey is laying in January?

OH SCG!!! That recipe looks yummy!!! That is a must try for the next Sunday breakfast, thank you!

Let me know if you like it. We had people here at the end of October that told me as they were leaving they regretted that I hadn't made the apple pancakes this visit. The pancakes are easy to make, but I had broken my second pie plate (this recipe needs 2 pie plates) so I didn't make them.

I'm sitting gazing out the window - watching the light snow they predicted, stack up. It was supposed to be powdery - it's NOT! We'll be in the deep freeze this week with highs 4-9 below, blowing and drifting snow and all that pleasant-ness. High winds and low, low wind chills. I dislike the dilemma of face mask or goggles. If I wear the face mask the goggles totally fog up -
