Nights In White Satin!
Love the Moody Blues, then later Erick Clapton.
Oh man, .. A Horse With No Name...
80's came along..I'll admit it, I loved Michael Jackson music, because I loved to dance.
Madonna for walking music, with my trusty walkman. :D

Okay, so you would need an expanding feed port to handle that, and maybe even a catcher underneath.
Okay, Felix, not to change the subject but I've got hot compost going!!! My first ever and all because of your fine thread.

Now, back to the feed. The rubber buckets are fine and indestructible but all mine want to do in our heat is stand and poop in the water. So I went to individual small waterers that I have to refill daily. I just got notification that my Sears.com order of Little Giant 3 gallon waters and 13 lb hanging feeders are on the way. What was I thinking? Couldn't resist a sale. That's my life story. I bought 4 waterers and 10 (bright yellow) feeders shipped for $111. That's super cheap. Do I need 10 feeders with 11 chickens? No. BUT I'm going to start building up the stock really fast in the next couple of months. I have 2 coops 100 sq ft and 2 smaller ones. I need at least one, maybe two more good sized coops. I have the 40 ISA Browns for one coop and the White Rock Breeders for the other. Now I have Marraduna Basque and 3 Lemon Cukoo Orpingtons in the 'bator. And I want to order at one maybe 2 doz Lavender Australorps from a lady in south La when her girls start laying again. I have 2 guys locally that want to go in on a large order for the ISA Browns. Maybe I'll start with 20 or 25 ISA's. But they are so super and start extra large eggs in 4.5 months. 325 yr. I'm so torn. I just need to build more. That's the ticket. Maybe I can pawn a couple of the yellow feeders off to the other fellows. ha snicker. I saw them advertised on Amazon shipped for $15 and I paid $4.50 shipped by buying 10. And I paid $14.50 for the 3 gallon waterer instead of $38 shipped. You only have to buy 2 of them for $28.95.
And I've bought supplies and blueberry bushes for the mini co-op I'm starting. Got to get the hardware cloth on both coops and put dirt around both and tin on one of them for the roof. Got to buy 2 doz straw bales and extra dirt for making the beds and trellises. Wow, I'm going to be busy. Tomorrow's day 20 on the Basques. I didn't gain weight after all the holiday eating for SOME reason.
