there is a product in indonesia called tempe, made from soy beans. its delicous but does not pretend to be neat

I'm definitely a meat eater.

He really didn't have a choice. The restaurant owner was a Vietnamese vegetarian..

chicka, since it's the first egg, is it the equivalent of a pullet egg? I've been told to wait until pullets have been laying for a little while, and their eggs up to size, before attempting to hatch them. I don't know a thing about turkeys, and don't pretend to, that's why I'm asking.

You could be right but I already have it in the bator... lol I have waited a year for her to lay me an egg. I have to try it. The cross is called Heirloom.

Tofu is just yucky...

I have had good tofu... you just have to change your expectations. Dont expect it to taste like meat... But when cooked with other things and good seasonings it can be pretty good.

There is a Chinese restaurant here that makes hot and sour soup. There is Tofu and beef in the soup and the soup is a beef broth. The Broth is so good it gels when you refrigerate it. The tofu is sauted along with the beef and veggies and they use a firm Tofu in it.
