Speaking of seeds......

The pack of seeds you sent me arrived yesterday morning, Dude.  Those were not tomatoes.  In retrospect, I should have given you my home address, not the work one. 

On an entirely unrelated note - you are all invited to my retirement party, tomorrow.  Sorry for the short notice, the paperwork was hurriedly submitted on Friday afternoon.

I almost never candle. Eggs are just too dark. Green ones are hard to candle too.

Thanks for the well wishes, y'all, but it is a bit premature. I was joking (Bunny and Dude got it) and picking at Dude. I will likely be working another 2-3 years.

I sent that ancestry site some info on my family tree.
They sent me a pack of seeds and suggested I just start over

Good thing I was not drinking when I read that. I nearly choked anyway!

but I am not laughing.

I am grouchy and crotchety at the best of times..... but today...

today:

- it is colder out
- it snowed and is threatening to snow more
- the forecast says we shall hit single digits tomorrow
- whoever started the fire this morning 'oopsed' so the house is smoky and and cold (windows open)
- I actually agreed to, and allowed some nasty little boy to come over and spend the weekend with my boys
- no one has brought me coffee
