The Old Folks Home

Time to head out to get some hay for the piggies to burrow into, and a couple of extras for the pen so I won't lose a boot in the mud again. The pigs are almost six months old! They are HUGE!

@ChickenCanoe what a great resource, thank you for this.

Someone shared this with me yesterday. I found it interesting since I never drink enough and never feel dehydrated. I am not so sure we need as much as we have been told.

cute chicks!
There are a couple of problems with eating your water that I can think of.

1. Fruit has fructose in it and we are not supposed to have too much of it.
2. Drinking to thirst stops working well as we age.

Nice idea though.

Obsessing is a sign of aging, btw. Did you know the area of the brain involved with worry is one of the sections that does not shrink as we age? As a result, as our brain mass diminishes, our worry quotient goes up.

Okay. Go fixate on something else now...

Me too!

We obsess too much sometimes; thanks for the reminder.
You're welcome.

I'm hovering above the incubator with a cup of this RELAXING healing rose tea I'm addicted to.

I like this tea so much, I'm also a coffee addict. I got 2 different cultivars of tulsi to plant so I can make a similar tea of this myself.
