Oh wow, sorry for your peafowl Kathy!

I'm still hovering above the incubator. My phone is acting wonky with taking picts and uploading. Hmph.

A few bresse eggs have started to internally pip. I'm on my 3rd cup of coffee. I'm humming too..

How eggciting! both of my bators are empty, but I've been thinking about trying some Muscovy eggs.

As they are ornamentals, you have more treatment options.

The plan is to worm all of them with fenbendazole and to treat all of the young ones with metronidazole. If any look really iffy, I'll probably also give them some Baytril, since most of the necropsy reports I have seen have shown blackhead and E.coli. Of course any that aren't eating will be tube fed.

Kathy- sorry the peas are not doing well. Such lovely birds!!!! A neighbor up the street has 4 males that occassionally stroll across the road for all the commuters to admire. We love the muscovy-- very easy and VERY quiet. lol
