The Old Folks Home

Are you going to put walls on it or, will it be open? That would make for an excellent chicken coop too...
We are enclosing the back (as you see) and half of each side. The end I am taking the pic from will eventually have rails and we are going to put a gate on the left where there are currently two rails. Change of plans mid-stream as always seems to happen. I need to up load some more pics.

We are excited about the lumber we are enclosing it with. They are cedar planks from a saw mill. We got a bundle for $30 and it is going to be enough to do this shed and our other one with lumber left over.

I will upload another pic of the outside.

Nice set up Puddin

Thanks.

I got a really nice surprise from Skipperville, Alabama today. I needed a little kindness from friends today. Thank you, bama.

Both chicks are not doing great. Chick #2 though enjoyed a really nice nap in the chick chair while I held Chick #1. I put it on top of a heating pad on low, and it was more than happy to be slow cooked from below.

Unless a miracle happens, and I'm not optimistic, both will be culled tomorrow night. That will be a week.

Nice loafing shed!

Thanks.

Cyn, now that is cruel.

Bad news here - another chick of the exact same breed (splash swedish isbar) has the exact same leg problem, same side and all. I've splinted it since I caught it the first day, but this one will likely be culled tomorrow.

ron..scg..we don't usually get them starting up until March. :/

Well, go out there and get us some pictures.

Don't make me continue to show pictures of my suet feeder being engulfed by the snow. The bottom corner was lost overnight... I fear with tomorrow's storm the entire feeder will be gone.
