The Old Folks Home

See told you they would all want one!!! Sorry it took me so long to post the pics, I had to feed the animals first. Didit as fast as I could I swear! Great job! Dave threatened to leave me in it but I made him unbuckle me because I figured there was more than SCG waiting LOL

So while I am much much older than SCG, I'm not quite ready for the old folks home..  SCG informed me that membership in this thread wasn't so much about age as it was cognitive maturity and invited me to join you full time..  Somehow I have given her the erroneous illusion that I don't belong in a looney bin with my arms strapped to my sides... (obviously she has never participated in an elucidating discourse with my MIL who would probably volunteer quite willingly to testify about my need for a padded room, restraints and medication)  that being said, I look forward to additional interaction with all of you (supervised by the men in white of course)  Oh look!! a chicken!!

Scg youre killing us here!
Lots going on today courthouse called at 11 can you be at court at 3 and bring my niece with you.
So I leave work at 215 and get stopped by two school zones get to the girls school at 245 and there is quite a line waiting on them to get out at 3. So I try to pull through the middle and the security guard was like you have to go to the back of the line. I told him I needed to check them out I had to be at court at 3. He said well that's not fair to these people. Grr! Then the teacher in line asked who I was picking up I told her and no one questioned who I was or anything which tells me her mother could pick her up and not have a single problem. We will be having a talk about that. Sorry got off track anyways got to the court about 330 and luckily they were running behind. Lawyer asked questions to me and kandi as expected. Went in he gave judge an overview and judge asked what he recommended. He said I think the child should be placed in her care. Judge said ok I grant you custody. We go back again May 5th they have to give her mom an opportunity to show up. But I'm very happy with the results.

I'm so glad you got custody.

Bamachicks so glad it is going well for you. I hope it continues that way. My brother is still fighting his battle and was just told he would have to pay for a custody evaluation. They cost a lot of money and it was her side that asked for it and doesn't have to pay a dime. Just one more ploy. Not enough time to go into all of it just praying you don't have the same problems

Quote: I am lucky in that way!! Now we know you're a wicked little imp!!

You'd better be careful not to let him trap you into modeling it again!!

Quote: For those wondering, part of the Cinco de Mayo hatchathon last year was not only throwing your hat into the ring, but picking out a virtual straight-jacket...only this is now a reality for the eyes of the blessed!!! Hahahahahahahaaaaa!!!

We'll be doing that again this year.

bamachicks8, congrats, and I hope things slow down and get boring for you- you sure could use it.

Of course I want one! Humph! It would go really well with the propeller beanie I have around here somewhere..... somewhere... Heck, I used to have one. Wore it whenever I got off an airplane and somebody was waiting for me at the airport. (Usually for some public safety communications conference, which made it even more fun.) Where IS it?!?!?

So... SCG, how much would a custom straight jacket cost, hmmmm??

Ok, Ok... I'll let you in on a secret. Do you know how to sew? I found this after DiDi posted, and saw how easy it was.

I do have a ton of the rainbow strapping left if anyone needs some for a project.

I think everyone should be issued some adult drinks and a straitjacket if they ever need to fly a Cessna.

<*snort!*>

When I lived in West Sac and built all my stuff, I also bought a 275 gallon pre-formed pond liner. Had to ratchet-strap it to the TOP of my RAV4 for the one mile trip home, right side up. Not upside down, because it would have covered the windows. (Imagine a large turtle with wheels.)

Just thought I'd share another humorous mental image. Ratchet straps.

Bravo SCG!!!!! BRAVO!!!!!
Let me show you my new coat!

Front view before I am all strapped up!

Back view

It's like I'm hugging myself!

Straps securly fastened! I look like I belong now!!!!!

Close up of the front panels - puppy dogs, unicorns and butterflies! I am guessing the "no glitter" was the "command decision". I think that was a wise choice.

Close up of the back panel. I couldn't agree more. You know they are all going to want one now SCG. Just sayin'

Three of the five chicks I hatched over the weekend. I didn't have time to make it pretty since I had to get the pictures of my new coat loaded up to the site!

They can drag these out soooo long. Glad thigs went good for you. I'd have a talk with someone about that security guard. I would have told him that, no it isn't fair, so send them all to the courthouse. Courthouse! As in judge and cops! What a jerk he is. I'm so mad at him right now. OMG, like it's my business..

I just posted these to the 100 Community Photos thread; dunno if they'll be accepted, but thought I'd share 'em here, too. Just 'cause I can.... (I'm at the computer today, doing catch up on LOTS of things.)

Hmmm, none of the turkeys appear to be in this shot.....
.

Just a cozy night; my legs are under the throw blanket.

Beth fell asleep on my arm; you have no idea how hard it was to get this shot with my other hand!
.

Ooo, that last shot will make for a great photo contest someday. Cute.

DiDi, your hair is longer than the last time I saw you. And it's red. Was it red? Well any ol way, it's goes great with the straight jacket colors!

I'm sorry, but it looks like you were having too much fun with that jacket one.

Who took the pictures?
