Cynthia I have been growing my hair out to try a new style and the color is about the same as the last time you saw me. I have been coloring it for years and usually buy the same color although I do try different brands so the color might be slightly different. Dave, my DH, took the pictures. It was fun modeling!

I didn't get the real-time effect as I am having major connection issues at home. For those of you that didn't participate in the Turkey Hatchathon, this is a prime example of the fun and nonsense we enjoyed last year. You should all consider joining us for that one, it is too much fun!

I was thinking of offering a custom SJ up as a prize for the turkey hatch-a-long but I realize that that's more than likely inappropriate and I've already been warned on previous hatches not to offend anyone with prizes. Plus I'm still a pretty novice sewer, and I'm not sure I'm up to a completely custom job, yet. Don't want to disappoint.

Gotta keep practicing.

I'm also not participating in the turkey hatch this year, unfortunately. I'll probably do one solo once I get back from Utah, but I won't be returning home until the day before the hatch and while I trust BF, I really don't trust him.

Did you know that most nut houses do not allow you to wear your own Straight Jackets!!!!!!!
yes, the one I had when I visited one back in the day, made me take it off, took my candy, smokes, flask and other things I had hidden in it.
man, it was rough for that weekend....

I do have to admit, it does look nice, just missing the hiddy spots...



I also agree, you look too happy wearing it. is there something you should tell us about from your past or something...

as for offending people, just call it, "A wear-a ma-thingie". That covers the people who are too uptight and for the others....well we know what it really is......




A coldish day again, more cold and wind this weekend. makes me glad I hurt myself working during the nice days....



For those that don't know tickisums, Hurt yourself is kind of good or bad.
example.... I hurt myself eating all that awesomely good food... a good way
oh lord, I hurt myself plowing her fields.... kind of good way... snickers
I hurt all over. .... BAD thing
I hurt myself rambling on... a normal thing for me......




enjoy whatever type of day you have and remember.

only you can prevent overly up tight people from messing your day up....

SCG both the turkey hens are laying. I think it was the BR hen that laid first because I got my second egg today and it looks different than the BR eggs so they both must be laying

Awesome! Mine still haven't laid although they are physically laying on the ground, still. Today I tried the turkey calls for the one girl and she really, really liked it. I almost felt bad as if I was messing with her. Almost.

Went to bed at 730 because I felt gross. And then I got up at midnight. Giant fail on my part.

SCG, I don't own a sewing machine; I gave away the ancient Brother sewing machine I hadn't used but twice back in the... 80s.

I would be honored and thrilled to <I>purchase</I> an SCG prototype Especially Secure Long-sleeved Jacket. <I><*nodding furiously*></I>. That way, any aspects which may concern you would be considered "Features."

I have 5 machines, but the only things I've made since Bill died were the Halloween costumes for a couple of my grand daughters last year. We used to sew together and man do I miss the help. Bill made experimental and competition parachutes, so when he made a mistake, those seems were a pain to pull out. LOL But I've been sewing since I was 9. My mom said since my legs were so long, I needed to learn and boy was she right. LOL
