Ron I think it was just the first episode listed on you tube. They were trying to start an egg business. I I don't recognize the breeds well in black in white, except for white leghorns. I was surprised at how young Walter Brennan was, he didn't look old enough to be " Grand paw."

I found it!

I saw leghorns and barred Plymouth rocks. It looked like there may have been some mottled polish in the back corner on top of the nest boxes.

There were also some bantams in there--odd choice for a show about starting an egg business.

In 1957, Walter Brennan would have been 63.

Think we made it to 72 today but it is now dropping and is 57 now and expected to be in the high 30s by morning - sending the icy stuff Bama's way
