Ron I think it was just the first episode listed on you tube. They were trying to start an egg business. I I don't recognize the breeds well in black in white, except for white leghorns. I was surprised at how young Walter Brennan was, he didn't look old enough to be " Grand paw."

I found it!

I saw leghorns and barred Plymouth rocks. It looked like there may have been some mottled polish in the back corner on top of the nest boxes.

There were also some bantams in there--odd choice for a show about starting an egg business.

In 1957, Walter Brennan would have been 63.
 
Bama simmer down. You have mentioned liking that' user name' several times in the past - just walk away from it and you'll stay a free man awhile longer.
 
And I dont really buy, sell, or trade. So I pretty much do whatever I want. If it werent for "time outs" our chickens would have umbrellas duct taped to their heads.
