The Old Folks Home

Benedryl is safe, too! It is one of the ones I will take...... and I don't do drugs, even OTC, unless I feel I absolutely have to. I know this because my OBGYN told me to take one at bedtime during my pregnancies to aid sleep. He was quite strict about what he would and wouldn't let me take. If he said it was safe, it must be.

I try not to take drugs for their side effects. Benadryl messes up my next day.

The only time I hit the prescription bottles is in flight. Its not falling to sleep thats my issue, its falling back to sleep. I am captive for 12-14 hours so a a milligram of xanax with a double scotch will get me 3 hours, then after a seat adjustment I can go back to sleep.

The last time I tried to buy Benedryl, it said "non drowsy formula." so I didn't buy it. It used to help me sleep and my doctor used to say it was okay also. It was great when I'd have a hives attack -because when you're sleepy you aren't scratching yourself raw.

Today was a beautiful day so I went out to a small canyon near my house to get a few pictures of some old mining ruins. Not sure what they were for but kinda neat to see.

Also saw signs of spring everywhere.

Saw a few other interesting things too.

Most of the time I can watch law and order or criminal minds and go to sleep pretty easy and hour after I take my Tylenol pm. Unless the dogs start barking then I am up all night!
