Bambam, it's possible... I have been slightly less active lately though. According to my e-mail, I joined BYC April 29th. So that gives me about four weeks to rack up a thousand posts. Very doable. But we'll see.

We use a buttload of water, I think about 600 cubic meters per year or something. I'd like to see that number go down a bit, and I actually have some ideas on how to cut down our use a bit. Would save on water heating cost too, at the moment our plumbing is set up a bit stupidly.

*Edit* Okay, that sounded way too high. And it was. Apparently we used 25 cubic meters in Q4/14. So with a bit more watering in the summer, maybe 120 cubic meters per year. Costs about 50 euros per month or so.

I just got through analyzing my grandmas water bill.

The monthly bill for water is around 130 dollars a month... But that also includes the sewer charge and infrastructure charges.

Our actual water charge is 40 dollars a month.

We use seven water units... a unit is a 100 Cubic feet or 748 gallons. 5236 gallons a month. If it were divided its 175 gallons a day. and 58 gallons per person per day.

We do very limited outdoor watering. Just enough to keep the yard greenish.

When i live at home I probably do a load of wash a week and since no one is around I may have a shower every other day.... or two.... hee hee.

Come to think of it when I am at home I should monitor my water usage just to see how much I use personally.

The horse drinks about forty gallons of water a day.

And nothing gets watered outside there is no washing of concrete or cars. If I need to wash a car I go to a carwash even the coin operated washes recycle the water.
