Happy Friday, y'all.

It's got to get better from here, right?

I got a raging rash from the soap at work this week (the second time... I developed an allergy from the first soap and switched) so I've been soaking my hands in steroids and salve at night covered in a sock. I washed ALL my work pants last night, then did my hands. I figured I'd get up really early and throw everything in the dryer, do my chores, then shower and get dressed so I didn't get oily junk all over my clothes.

Got out of the shower this morning, reached into the dryer and felt... cold and wet.

The dryer died.

My work pants will not be able to air dry in the time I have before work. I'm contemplating grabbing the hair dryer once BF gets out of the bathroom. I do have one clean and dry pair of jeans, and my boss is going to FLIP if I wear them to work. I think he'd prefer them though to no pants at all.

Or go in your panties . . . . .or take the day off due to sickness . . . . . .

SCG looks like there will probably still be snow in the mountains when you get here in a couple of weeks. This was taken today. No snow in the valleys, and much of the new snow will be gone but there will still be some.
Sooooooooooo calming

Busy mommas--

Oh Oh, it's supposed to snow on Monday DiDi, but I can't see it sticking.

Saw this, this morning..so, thought I might as well share since I'm seeing some funnies on here. Made me almost.. chuckle. I have a thing about not being able to breath. When ever I see movies where the people are holding their breath for ridiculous amounts of time under water..really unrealistic, I just cringe.

When I was little I had rashes all the time. It wasn't until junior high that anyone realized it was soaps and cleansers. I was still the only dishwasher in the house. They bought me gloves. Still didn't stop. Turned out I'm also allergic to laytex and plastics. Surgeries would also have the same affect since thy would bandage me up. Yep! Allergic to most of those too. Also allergic to this half grown cat that thinks when I sit here to type, my lap is the best place to come up and give himself a nice tongue washing. I draw the line when he gets to his privates. Kitty on the floor!

My dryer broke down 2 weeks after Bill's funeral. How strange am I? His friend that offered to come out and hel if I needed it, hasn't made it out. I wait till nice days and wash and hang things out. I can't be the dumbest tool in the shed though. Last time I went to dry at the laundromat, the kid the hired to be on site comes over and giggles and says "You always show up when it's raining." Told him on nice days I hang laundry and he had this look like "OMG, I didn't figure that out on my own?" Looks at me and says "I never thought about that."

Gonna go look at phones again. My delema is, I have a family plan. I have a hard enough time paying for it, but with all the new hones, even Metro charges more of all those each month. Dakotah's oldest brother gave him a really nice phone and I just can't pay the extra, so we're both looking for something that stays in our plan and is still decent. My youngest daughter is here and going with me. Her and daughter #3 are Queen of the cell phone, so I'm taking her to make sure I get a good, but not on going addition to expense. Wish me luck. Used to be Bill would get me the best one, but that's not an option. I didn't even have a phone to take pics of my Easter Hatch chicks or enter some of the contest. I just paid my bill and haven't had a phone since St Paddy's day

I did have to go in today, our tech's husband died and the funeral was today. I had to cover outpatient so others could attend.

I did it in my jeans. My boss flipped a bit, but once I explained that it was jeans or undies he realized I made the right decision.

BF's trying to get the dryer going now. Otherwise I gotta go out tomorrow and get a new one. It's usually not nice enough in Maine 6 months of the year to hang clothes out. Most of the time in winter if I leave with wet hair it freezes instantly. I can't imagine hanging out my wet clothes would be any different.
