Or go in your panties . . . . .or take the day off due to sickness . . . . . .Happy Friday, y'all.
It's got to get better from here, right?
I got a raging rash from the soap at work this week (the second time... I developed an allergy from the first soap and switched) so I've been soaking my hands in steroids and salve at night covered in a sock. I washed ALL my work pants last night, then did my hands. I figured I'd get up really early and throw everything in the dryer, do my chores, then shower and get dressed so I didn't get oily junk all over my clothes.
Got out of the shower this morning, reached into the dryer and felt... cold and wet.
The dryer died.
My work pants will not be able to air dry in the time I have before work. I'm contemplating grabbing the hair dryer once BF gets out of the bathroom. I do have one clean and dry pair of jeans, and my boss is going to FLIP if I wear them to work. I think he'd prefer them though to no pants at all.

Sooooooooooo calming
Busy mommas--
When I was little I had rashes all the time. It wasn't until junior high that anyone realized it was soaps and cleansers. I was still the only dishwasher in the house. They bought me gloves. Still didn't stop. Turned out I'm also allergic to laytex and plastics. Surgeries would also have the same affect since thy would bandage me up. Yep! Allergic to most of those too. Also allergic to this half grown cat that thinks when I sit here to type, my lap is the best place to come up and give himself a nice tongue washing. I draw the line when he gets to his privates. Kitty on the floor!Happy Friday, y'all.

I did have to go in today, our tech's husband died and the funeral was today. I had to cover outpatient so others could attend.
I did it in my jeans. My boss flipped a bit, but once I explained that it was jeans or undies he realized I made the right decision.
BF's trying to get the dryer going now. Otherwise I gotta go out tomorrow and get a new one. It's usually not nice enough in Maine 6 months of the year to hang clothes out. Most of the time in winter if I leave with wet hair it freezes instantly. I can't imagine hanging out my wet clothes would be any different.
