The Old Folks Home

WISHER you can put Botulism in the search box and found symptoms etc. for poultry, I think there are cases there of geese, ducks, etc. I just checked but, don't know all the symptoms your ducks have.

So Ice cream flavors travel slowly too? I think I first saw that one a few years ago. Haven't tried it though. I still say Cookie Dough is the best B&J flavor.

Among other things that travel slowly, is fashion. Trends usually hit Helsinki within a few months, or a year max. But now when we drove through Finland for our skiing trip, it was again interesting to see how it slowly trickles down the further and further from the capital area. About a 100 miles out, they're 2-3 years behind. At about 300-400 miles, they were pretty much 5 years behind. But then when you got about 600-700 miles away, most of the people had quite fashionable clothing, because the things that were trendy 10 years ago are making a comeback, and that 10 year wave had just arrived up north.

I'm not a very fashionable person myself, but I try to dress either practically, or smart, depending on what I'm doing. I do however have an appreciation for quality and a good fit. I also like looking at people.

I think the store has to decide what they're going to stock. It was new at our store this week. I just assumed it was new new.

Mr Fox didn't show this morning. I waited a few hours, then went inside to make Sunday's bread. The kitchen still has a very decent view of the animal area. I'm guessing the second fox took advantage of the hurt fox and will have plenty to eat for a while.

I don't care about fashion. I want to be comfortable and appropriate for the weather, whatever that may be. Much of us New Englanders are like that.

Beer can, all of the other people, are cool too.

I meant it would be nice and we would be cooler if we had the jobs they had in the 50s. Would be nice if there was actually products made in the USA like in the 50s also.
There is less people working in the US right now than there was 30+yrs ago, pretty sure our population hasn't went down.

Got singing along with this one in the grocery store a while back, and cracked up when I made eye contact with someone and realized what I was singing . . . . (it's OK; they know me there, and let me in, anyway).

Good morning! I'm doing pretty good except for some allergy symptoms that are a small price to pay for the gorgeous weather.

I found these great shoes, but I just hate that I didn't find them before Easter.
