I saw a lady's post on one of the FB poultry pages and she was just down right ugly about a couple of ducks she bought. She was saying she thought she would love them but they stunk and that they belonged on a stinking farm! Can you imagine?

Oh, I learned something new today. Did you know that Finland produces over a quarter of all the cumin sold internationally (India is the worlds largest producer, but they only sell about 10 percent of their production abroad). I think that was a weird fact.

Keep sending the cumin this way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I"m sure the people of India use soooo much cumin they dont have much left to sell abroad. So keep sending it this direction as I use it in my chili.

THat IS funny!!

My muscovy do make use of the horse troughs and that burns me. THe horse will NOT drink after the duck bathe and do do-do!! YUK.

A compromise is in order. Culling the duck population OR preventing access . . . . THey do have their OWN pools, yes POOLSSSSSSS. ANd the stream is flowing right now . . . . DUck certainly tastes good and only a few hens that lay every day will keep me in eggs.

We alternate eggs to help prevent allergic reactions. In the spring we eat many duck eggs, then in late summer start eating the turkey eggs too. Basically trying to give the body a break from just chicken eggs for a week or two at a time.

I just got back from teaching my intermediate chicken class at the Community College. The prerequisites are that one must already own chickens or have attended my first class.
One student said it far exceeded his expectations.

Or shorten it up a bit and go with Chicken MD. Dosage Diva is pretty good as well, but might confuse some folks as there's already a real Diva here

I love Dosage Diva too and so fitting.

You should really start a new chat thread. The cold folks home (R.I.P) was pretty cool.

Perhaps better in winter and maybe not enough southern hemisphereans to keep it going through our summer.
