The Old Folks Home

Sorry about your wife Ron! That is difficult.

Thank you!

She has had too much calcium in her blood since 2007. The Dr.s keep telling her to wait until it goes higher or something else bad happens. The kidney stones are over 90% of the time caused by too much calcium. Most of the time the calcium is caused by a parathyroid tumor.

The problem is that the longer a person over 35 has a blood calcium over 10, the more problems is caused, including bone density loss. This condition was first diagnosed in the 1920s too.

Hopefully this will be enough to get the problem taken care of, after 8 years too.

Quote: Ron my Dr. checks all my levels every other month they take 6-7 vials of blood to keep up with my CHF and COPD and my arthritis. They are good. But I do have Osteo Arthritis. I thought it was RA till I went to the RA clinic and they did all the scans and told me it is Osteo.

I am so sorry your wife is going thru that Ron. I pray she will find a good Dr. and get the help she needs.

She is going to see if she can get a referral to UCD Med Center. They are part of my network of hospitals.

Thanks Chickwhispers. :)

Arielle How nice for you the 50's! And peas popping! Go peas! :)

I am also so happy to see everything coming up. :) I did not plant much but so far so good. :)

Bee hives all installed :) What a trip! They're awesome!

Looks great! How come you have both deeps on with a package, though? Do you also have an entrance reducer on?

Had my first prolapsed hen today. Unfortunately her colon split when I was trying to push it back in. From what I've read though they don't really survive too well, so I guess that was for the best.

chickadoodles, I have Osteo P. :/ ron, sorry about your wife. Man, we either have too much or too little .. I have too little. When I had surgery on my neck spine, they said my bones were so soft, they were worried about the metal staying in place with the screws..had to wear that neck brace an extra two weeks.

SCG..sorry about your hen. I've also heard that prolapsed is usually not a fix it get well thing. I hope I never have to go through that. Knocking on wood.
