grandma actually tasted it and didnt dislike it... ate about an ounce too.

she didnt like the carrots either.

Only thing was... it needed more salt... I wasnt generous enough. Next time I will do the leg as a roast by itself and the veggies separate....

Grandmas not a convert but she wont turn her nose up next time....

My Grand Pa on my Mom's side was a bridge inspector for cal trans. He had to go under and into the spaces of the bridges. He had quite a few stories about them.

We still have creosote wooden bridges around here lol. Our bridge inspector is also the dog catcher

We lost the sticky chick, and another got trampled by it's hatch mates and didn't make it. They are much happier in their outside brooder area. Already getting little wing feathers.
