Woo Hoo we got rain.... and the roadways are a mess... over 170 crashes in about two hours.

Were talking down pours in places where the windshield wipers werent able to keep up... and still the idiots keep driving....

The news says it was like a winter storm.

We do too! It's been raining off and on all day, but it's the evenings that we are getting it good..for 4 days in a row. Going to go on for another day or two, then a few days off, then more for a few days. Wow, what a relief. Not as good as it being stored up in those mountains, but we'll take what we can get!
Who ever it was that said they would keep doing the rain dance, keep it up.

Californians dont think about the consequences of no rain for months.

1 million cars travel the 10 freeway every day. All thos little drops of oil, overfilled gas tanks and slippery stuff falls onto the freeway for months. After the first rain we have our very own version of black ice.

They got it tamed down now a bit.... with those traffic circle things.... Woe be it back in the day to be a pedestrian along Pacific Coast Highway...

It is also called the California State Rout 1

during good weather its a marvelous drive after San Onofre... It covers the whole coast of California.... If anyone wants to see California its an awesome drive.

Technically it goes from Mexico to Canada but parts have been absorbed by either city or freeway. I been as far as Sanfrancisco on it.
