Good morning everyone I hope ya'll are having a great cup of java and will have a great day!

I am going to try to see my broody hens babies one way or another today. Wish me luck.

So I asked about the duck testicles because someone posted about neutering their mature drake for behavioral reasons and made it sound like it wasn't that big a deal, but now that I've seen how big they can be, I wonder how safe it is?

Try not to stress your broody out. You'll see them eventually.

I have so much to do today but I'm meeting my wife at a pick your own strawberry farm right now, then breeze by the top art fair in the country, then up to Farm&Home hoping to pick up an inner cover for my third hive and install a nuc I picked up yesterday. Still have to make some more frames for the two packages I installed a couple days ago.
Have to finish a double sided coop for breeders so I can get chicks into the brooder house. Replace a missing downspout causing a leak in the basement.
Finish cleaning the hatcher for 48 eggs going into lockdown tomorrow. Muck out at least one coop. Weigh and replace leg bands on about 40 chicks.
Lots more but that's the highlights for the day.
