That is almost the German name for the stinkiest nastiest cheese I have ever smelled

Hog barn is twelve times worse...


I have soaked both of my feet, and one entire arm up to the arm pit in cow "stuff" on many an occasion (and have a certificate to prove it), and that is a heavenly bed of roses compared to a hog barn.

I told my husband to get me a gift card for my favorite fabric store. You should have seen him laugh!

I used to always go to the fabric store and buy my mother several half-yard pieces of fabric. I'd get coordinating pieces that I knew she'd use. She told me once it was always her favorite gift..

We think we have figured out the egg dilemma at our house.

It is Santa he has been visiting our hens at night because Mrs. Clause said she wanted Fresh Backyard Chicken eggs for all the treats her and the Chef Elves are making!




And now with Christmas so close she doesn't need as many eggs and Santa is leaving a couple behind for us.
I might have to keep my cookies and EggNog this year
