The Old Folks Home

Oh, and the clean cutnes is due to how my hair grows. If it grows at all longer, it starts to stand out really weirdly on the sides of my head. That's why I tend to get it cut more to a state trooper kinda length. Smack on a pair of aviators on me and "License and registration, ma'am" rolls right off my tongue. My hair is actually pretty long there, it's been 6 weeks since it was last cut. But it's become so thin now that it sort of sticks to my head whenever I've worn any sort of head gear.

V I have been in Alabama since 1989 and people still ask me where I am from. lol I have the southern accent mildly but it is my expressions and some of my words that get them. hahhaha

The sun came out for all of 5 minutes during this last two weeks that DH has been on vacation. :( He is not impressed.

Alaskan don't worry I AM old, and hope to get older. I put the "OLD" in old folks home. You might want to trade your young Felix for my son, who works as a programmer at Microsoft. Although he doesn't care for animals - he is very capable fixing things around the house(probably igloos too.)

They recruited him as a college freshman & flew him to WA for an interview. He interned out there for 2 summers. After that you are hired BUT, he wanted to finish college, so the second time he interned Junior year, started working full time summer the next year.

And he calls his mama every week. Such a good boy! Knock on wood. A lot of chicken folks in WA, have kids working at Microsoft. They work them hard but compensate well. Albeit it is very expensive to live out there.

That's very nice for your son Diva. What a very thoughtful son to call his mom every week!

By the way Diva we are only as old as we feel.
I just saw a video on facebook of a 60 year old lady lifting weights and workouts with all the youngins! She looks and feels great!

you still could Felix, you could apply again. One of his friends from college got hired I'm not certain if as a recruiter or trouble shooter, whatever I forget. But she travels several times a week - her husband moved to WA. and she is hardly ever there. I guess that works for some people.

If you pm me what computer department, whatever, you would like to work in- I'll ask my son if anything is available. You can see my son is 'spontaneous generation,' no computer skills from mama. Other acquaintances of his have also gotten various positions, trading Chicago's miserable weather for warmer winters in that part of Wa.

Wouldn't that be cool if you and he got to be friends? I still think you can't be only 30 but, IF that truly is YOUR photo, it appears to be true.

My eldest son has hair issues.... If it isn't super short it looks all kind of horrid/ wild afro wanna be. If he kept it nice, it would be fine, but that boy isn't that much into grooming.
