I have, however, notified the neighbor that we talk to that we are in possession of butchering knowledge, a smoker and have smoked bacon before. We have agreed to split it halfsies if they kill it.

I walked the whole length of my road but no sign of the pig. There was plenty of deer and turkey and human tracks, but I could not locate the pig. I did find a very sketchy half bottle of Jack, though and probably 10 returnables.

I'd have to agree with the drinking problem prognosis... who in their right mind leaves an un-finished bottle of Jack laying on the side of the road? That's alcohol abuse plain and simple.
