I actually did online gaming... In one of the very first multi-user on-line dungeons... All just text... Back in 1989

Not online anything.... but my go to game was Liesure Suit Larry.... Took about ten Floppy disks .... yep 5.25 . And we got email through work.. only inter office stuff.

I remember BBS convos going over Teletype to San Diego state. Pre Starwars era.

programs were Keypunched and Verified meaning you had to type em in by hand TWICE. I was programming in Fortran then...

Then dad bought a Tandy computer. And he was programming Gear cutting software. On Cassette tapes. The first real computer in the family was one of those Apple things

Then dad found out he could build his own.... Zoom we were off and running.

Took them 3 hours to get from NJ to Maine.

Takes me a wee bit longer

Question -
Has anyone here ever used Bloodstop ( hemostat) gauze on a chicken? Is the cellulous fiber compatible? Sounds like a great thing to have in my emergency kit.

I still remember my original PRODIGY sign on to get to the bulletin boards... RKKP75D. What a fantastic user name! Dad was A, mom was B, sis was C... I was D. We moved to AOL a few years later and I was so excited that we got to pick our own sign ons with that company. I still remember that one, too.

You can use cornstarch instead of sugar or blood stop, too.

I also use cornstarch to stop bleeding on my birds.

I lost one of my favorite hens today. DH found her on the floor in the coop. She was my Blue Andalusian I hatched from NYREDS eggs. She and my splash Andalusian were my favorite hens.

It always seems to be a favorite one that we lose!

Prodigy was my first followed by AOL as well. I can't remember my user names on either though... age has struck. I CAN remember spending over $200/month on AOL though
