Chickens eating ants

I have several chickens that dive right into an ant nest vacuuming up the ants and eggs.

Remind me to never again incubate cream legbars and dark brown leghorns at the same time.
We are clueless as to who is who.

Don't the CLs have little tufts on their heads? Or does that develop later? In either case, the white eggs will come out of the brown leghorns and blue eggs out of the CLs so you will be able to tell them apart in 5 months or so

Make sure they are designated for Pistachio

I suppose if the fund is large enough there could be allowances for other flavors.
