It sounds like it might be Wry neck, also called star gazing. You will need to separate the chick until it is better--you could set up a little basket cage in the brooder. I give them a drop(on the beak) of poly vi sol without iron baby drops twice a day. This will often solve the problem withing several days.

You will likely have to hand feed the chick and make sure it drinks water.

I never had poly-vi-sol on hand and have used a cut open vitamin pill.... I think vitamin E????

It has been awhile... But it took only two days max ti get the chick back to perfect.

Yes!

Vitamin E will work. Poly vi sol without iron is good because it has B vitamins in it too.

It was nice though, because I didn't have to run to the store, just cut open one gell filled pill. Easy, I like easy. I might have even found a gell pill for B vitamins and done that too.

We have just about every vitamin but E
