The Old Folks Home

Does anyone know if young pullets, just beginning to lay will lay bigger eggs as they mature? Also, are the mites that chickens have mature chiggers? Im used to chiggers when baling hay or straw or even sometimes just handling bales but i got a case after cleaning the coop which included handling straw bales to rebed the coop.

chiggers are different than mites.... i believe And Yes chickens eggs get bigger as they get older continuing on till they stop laying from old age.

But now you are found, been missing a good long while

Welcome Albamadude hope you stopped by the new Members intro thread to get your official welcome. Maybe you'd like to tell us a bit about yourself. Do you have any chickens now? How about family, hobbies, etc?
