The Old Folks Home

When I was done with him, my entire right forearm and hand was coated with flowing blood. I'm talking continuous drippage. It's all over the sleeve of the T-shirt, my right pants leg, splattered all over the coop floor and in a trail back to the standpipe where I washed most of it off so I could go inside and clean up. Dispatching him took first and highest priority  :celebrate After a peroxide followed by alcohol wash, then multiple band aids coated with triple antibiotic, the **** main hole (beak or spur puncture, not sure) is STILL leaking blood. Just applied a little pressure and a watery blood came out (mixed with white cells no doubt) seems there's a pocket underneath that keeps filling. Satisfaction in that he paid a higher price than I in the end.

Glad you took care of him. Hope your wounds heal quickly!

Latestarter, my little brother did the same with a buff orp last weekend. I've been telling him for awhile he'd have to, didn't believe me thought he could tame him. Tried to explain to him that hatcheries don't breed out aggressiveness like a breeder would.
Still wanted a rooster so I rehomed him my extra white giant. They're so calm I've never seen them lift their neck feathers. Him and his girlfriend were scared of him at first cause he's huge and bad experience with with his orp. He says the roo is a wuss. I said but he's a huge wuss and he ain't attacking you is he!!

Pretty funny, day he got him he posted on Facebook he had a secret, kept everyone in suspense. Then posted 'I got a big white ....' well I can't say it here, could but context. ..and posted a pic of the roo with his hens. Lol!

Hmm, didn't realize my jersey giant's eggs were so heavy, knew they were big, guess my brownleghorns didn't lay the biggest eggs I've had.

Great movie clip, I have to see if I can find that movie. I'm not a fan of Nicole Kidman, so this would great. I always say "Never a good reason to keep a bad roo."

Latestarter - are you up to date on your tetanus shots? Please don't take chances. I'm sure that Roo would have given you a parting gift.

I have to say Nicole Kidman does bring the movie down - not a fan of her, either, but the rest of the cast makes up for it. Not even a fan of her character in this movie.

There's a couple "adulty" spots so if you're expecting rainbows, unicorns and fully clothed characters, look elsewhere.

She clearly had her eyes changed, I think she looked nice in Bridget jones diary. Now she just looks like everyone else, forgettable.

I loved Bridget Jones Diary....

Looked at the before and after pictures.... she just looks happier. and healthier.... her color is better

But Really shes 45 and still stunning looking. In time Stuff is going to change.....she was 32 in that Bridget Jones Diary alot can change in 15 years....

I will second that.... Unless his last shot was recently.

Not that I ever read it online(for free) but, National Enquirer did a piece on Renee showing her over the years and then after her' not good' plastic surgery. She looked much better 'before' but I can see - with Hollywood you have to do your best to keep up or be passed over. She is a great actress.
