ants are my biggest killers of young chicks. their bites are ferocious and wiped out my quail except 2, hoping for a pair i make everything rat proof only other issue is hungry neighbors. i have free range local chickens they steal at one per week. I am building a new fence

Maybe you can hold a few "classes" and teach poultry keeping. So many people short on food everywhere in this world.

It's not bad to keep up because our growing season is so short! Invariably, I used to think that I could remember where I planted what and when... but never could. So the record keeping started.

Got all the coops cleaned out in preparation for leaving. I hate returning home to really nasty smells. It's hit about 85 here and I was dripping with sweat when doing the huge chicken coop. It is crazy heat. I don't know how you guys tolerate 110.

I kinda like the fiddler crab one. I am crabby. But my car has a decidedly chicken theme. I need someone to invent a chicken themed stick shift.

I had a custom one on my last car, red and black leather. It was so nice (nicer than my car... 1995 Neon). When I bought my new car in 2009 I vowed to swap the gear shift out but haven't gotten around to it and got used to the round knob. Now you've inspired me to shop!

I am thinking of a chicken foot with the toes holding an egg, would have to be a BIG egg.....

To lift the locals out of poverty they need to be able to provide nourishment now while working for sustainable future. Trying to get a hungry person to look forward is a challenge.

In the mean time if my chickens Provide a need sometimes greater than mine
