The Old Folks Home

LOL SCG... my previous was kinda directed at Diva in her hunt for/frustration over trying to recover: super glued coins... But I can def see how it could work to remove poopsickles

I suppose you could use the pointy end there to clean your nails (manicure - sorta) after you're done too! A true wonder tool... multi function...

Was just looking at the NE weather radar/satellite data... Looks like you New England folks are in for it! Bundle up and if you have to go out or drive, be careful.

Um, I'm not sure I would want to use it to clean my fingernails after using it to scrape off poopcicles!

Going to get 6 inches today, then ice then rain tomorrow. I have no idea whether I should shovel today and risk an ice rink tomorrow or just leave it for traction

The lazy in me thinks I should just leave it.

We are getting the same, but less snow. I don't think lazy is an appropriate description. You and I (and a lot of other people) know what rain on a thin layer of snow followed by freezing temps does. Lazy would be if you didn't have your sand barrel at the ready.

I'm super glad I have nowhere I need to go Monday. Wife doesn't have it so good, the PO must be opened and (wo)manned.

No threat of freezing rain here and the only ice covering is where I spilled the water I was carrying to the coop.
Snowing now, but it's so cold it's the really fluffy stuff so even tho we are going to have potentially another foot
by dark it's no big deal. Tomorrow the wind picks up and the daytime HIGH will be around -10F with a -30 to -40
windchill.
Children and grandchildren not able to come north after all. SIL's mom dxd with 3rd round of breast cancer. (she
was clear for several years) They are meeting her in Madison @ UW cancer center for tests to see if treatment this
time is worth it. so sad.
Car still in the shop from the deer strike BEFORE Thanksgiving and no chance of repairs being finished before the
New Year and just can't trust the 10 yr old little tin can loaner with 100,000 miles on it we were given to travel
anywhere in this kind of weather so no trip to the city for Christmas shopping, seeing the lights, etc.
Final straw? Vet called yesterday to inform us she got the quote on the surgery that the pup needs, and must be
done at a specialty surgery center hours away, will run around $3500.00. She's going to call around for us and
see if someone else will do it for less. In her defense she thought that was crazy too.
Anyway, after all this, including the weather, I stuffed most of the decorations and the plastic tree (hated that thing
anyway) back under the bed, tossed the turkey back in the garage freezer and we're calling Christmas a wrap
this year. Christmas eve service if the roads are clear otherwise snack food and football Sunday.
Time to drag out the seed catalogs, track down a good breeder (no more hatchery shipping nightmares for me)
and dream of spring.

You should carry one of these in your purse:

Can also be used for self defense or helping any painters you might happen to encounter

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA thanks, Latestarter.

Consequently I use one of those, the wider one for masons, to scrape frozen poosickles off the poop board.

Snowing like a banshee here this morning, but I have to tell you 3F felt like a summer breeze this morning compared to the last 2 days.

Leave some poosickles on the blade and you'd barely have to brandish it at the city folk...best self defense tool EVER.

Just don't put it in the purse that way.
