The Old Folks Home

Woodland is fine now. I did have rough drive home last night in the wind and rain. I stayed on the main roads so I did not have to go through any of the flooding that happened.

Hoping that we do not have any more atmospheric river storms this winter!

Very glad to hear the update...and know that you have not washed away. :D

Glad to hear Ron is OK.

Sand is good, get as much as we need. DON'T touch the salt through, salt blows anyway. Makes ice. Only had them load it for me a few times. Shoveled on huge truck loads myself many times. I always worked backwards Alaskan, get to the top with tire chains and thow the sand back down, back up and throw more, repeat till it's gone.
Yrs ago, no I'll shovel it on, "I'll just put some in the corner of the bucket load it for you", ok..., wasn't much, shake it again, oops...WOW!

So happy to hear your ok! Maybe we can all slow down praying for rain for California for a bit.

Scg I love your intermatation "running in soup" hahhahahha

Diva I hope your weather lightens up for you also.

We have a bit of a warm up this week! Thank goodness last week I felt like we had been transplanted into Alaska!

Most of our snow is gone, it got to about 40 and rained on it... now we have slimy mud on top of still frozen underdirt... it's about time to put more gravel down on the driveway, my AWD is starting to do little drift slides around the corner heading to the barn, can't wait for my friend (who isn't used to driving on anything other than pavement) to take her little 2WD down there and get stuck again....
