I'm not sure how much we've gotten cause it's blowing so hard but it seems to be at least a foot. Supposed to get 3-5 more inches tonight.

I regret taking the back roads home. They were not plowed recently... coming down too fast to keep up with. Spent most of the ride home in 2nd gear in 4wd lo.

I did let out a triumphant hoot when I got into the garage after successfully ascending the driveway of doom.

I know my brain is not the best, but aren't all of you that are complaining about winter, the same ones that couldn't wait until it was winter, just this last summer? Well, you got it.

Electric is all done on the coop, and fans installed. The water pipes are laid out, and connected in the yard. The neighbor came, and put more dirt around the outside of the coop, to level it off better. We will need at least another dump truck load to get it angled in right. The spigots are in, and waiting to be connected, and then all of it connected to the water. We are waiting on a neighbor that is bringing his trencher, then we'll lay the pipe in, and finish connecting it up.

Got my stitches out today. YAY!

We had about eight inches this morn, 10degrees right now. Supposed to get lots more snow this weekend changing over to rain... I'm ready for spring, be here before we know it, I hope..
Climate change, try to discuss it on a news website, worse than discussing politics or religion, those people get heated! Surprised 'global warming' isn't a banned subject on BYC. Maybe it is IDK? I better shut up..Lol! :-D

We are supposed to get another dump...and go below zero this weekend.

Here's to hoping that the "dump" is just one inch.

Our rollercoaster is about to climb another hill here. Today the highest temp was 10 F with windchills staying below zero. Tonight we have snow moving in, not a lot, another inch or two and temps dropping back into the minus again. Then by dawn we are supposed to have windspeeds picking up and sustaining at 30 or above mph with temps climbing into the 30's!!!! Should hit the top of hill on Sunday, more snow, then zoooooooooooooooooom, back down the other side to winter.

BTW- I was NOT one of those last summer in a hurry for winter. NOPE!

Last night it got down to 12 degrees here with an inch of snow on the ground. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 60

then highs in the high 40s and so and and so forth.

Spring, where art thou?
