Quote: Yes I agree they are beautiful. I named mine Cookie. I went to pick up a young doe, lol. It turned out to be a buck. It does not matter I still got the same results I wanted. I will take a pic of him and his 3 bachelor sons. One of them is not as big as the other 2 but they have all been very nice size compared to the smaller ones I started with.

Bunnylady I'm so happy you posted that pic. I had forgot that I bought my kids a couple of the Dwarf's and Lop's years ago. The dwarf's were so dang cute.

My goodness Deb that is a massive amount of hair on that rabbit! It makes that rabbit look like a giant!
I went to a lady's house to buy some Black turkey years ago and she brought out this huge rabbit that was nearly half her size! It was a giant Flemish! She had it in a small chicken tractor! I would not know what to do with a rabbit that size!

We have what we call swamp rabbits around here cause you mainly find them around swamps. Look just like a cotton tail but the ears are extremely short.

You think that's bad? There is one particular breeder whose name is just about synonymous with English Angoras (in this country, anyway) and I was curious whether that might be one of hers. So I googled the image to see if it would lead me to something that might give me its name . . . . Apparently, google thinks it's a long haired guinea pig.

Sylvilagus aquaticus - The Swamp Rabbit
Oh cool. Thank you. That rabbit does look a lot different from mine. Thanks for sharing this.
