I forgot to post a picture of the lady bugs. They swarm at the creek this time of year. There weren't as many as usual due to the wet and colder than normal spring but there were some!

For some reason my daughter just loves lady bugs. She's always letting them crawl up and down her arm and she's 26 years old

The place we go to is a breeding spot for lady bugs. When they gather, there are thousands of them! We have collected them and released them at our place. It works! We had no aphids on the roses this year.

We have been going to Stony Creek on the Snow mountain wilderness trail since the early 1980s on Memorial day weekend. Some years we go more times too.

It is called Stony creek for a reason!

There was a lot of water up there this year. I have a picture of one of the little waterfalls and also a video. I will get the video up later

My DW made down there this year. We were not able to make it there the past two years because of her motor cycle accident.

My Youngest DD and her boyfriend had a great time!

My Oldest DD and her fiance walked further up the tail to deafy glade and part of the trail to the top of the mountain. The top is over 7000 ft.

Your DW was in a bike crash? Yikes! That's cool she rides. I don't know any ladies who ride around here. I haven't licensed mine for a couple of years.

She was riding with her Christian motorcycle group at a freeway entrance when she was cut off. The motorcycle flipped and she rolled, breaking the left wrist and cracking a bone in the foot. Lots of other injuries too. Her left side is still very weak and the left wrist works at about 30%. It will be Three years in August.

Still rides too!

grew up with dirt bikes so started riding them at 9, bought my first street at 19 kz 500
cousin and his wife came out on a huge honda all decked out he said get what is comfortable and you can lift bought a if you can call light Harley sportster rode
that till graves and the stroke... sure do miss it....

Lots of other injuries too. Her left side is still very weak and the left wrist works at about 30%. It will be Three years in August.

back very early 80's had a car come across two lanes to hit my back tire I was on the kz knew I was going down jumped so the pipe could not burn me ruptured my knee cap, my acl and shoved the leg 1/2 inch up into the hip.. had the bike repaired then bought the Harley

Wow...good for her! I've had way too many close calls with our vehicles...I'll admit I'm much more hesitant with the bike than I used to be. People don't watch, it seems worse than it used to be.

My Ma was always panicked when I was on my bike... I would not want to ride any more these days around town we live in maybe but that's it freeway is taking your life in your hands in a vehicle
