The Old Folks Home

First, contact the person over the poultry show and find out the requirements and how to register. I hope they require vet certification for Pullorium and Avian Influenza. If they don't, you may not want to participate.

Next, research conditioning for a show in regards to feed, feathers, weight, parasites, etc. Also learn basic showmanship for the young uns'. There are some good videos on this on the net. Practice, practice, practice, for you, the kids, and to get the birds used to it.

Lastly, search on how and when to bathe, especially feet, legs, vent, comb, wattles, face, and feathers.

Best start today! Good luck!

I made mozzarella last night. I did two different recipes, and was amazed at the difference. One yielded only 8.2 oz of really hard mozzarella, the other recipe yielded 16.4 oz and a really soft cheese. Both started with a gallon of milk.

BF is off today, I'm working late. Hopefully he's going to produce a pizza from this for when I get home.
