The Old Folks Home

I have sticks and no goo and no bugs....
See...your place IS tempting....the mucky Florida swamp...nope.

Have you ever been sucked on by a leech? Man those are the worst! Give me worms any day over them.

Ha! My kids once got so many leeches on their feet, it looked like they were wearing socks!!! :lau :lau

Super funny!!

I had to stand them in a pot and pour salt over their feet..over and over....then I stuck them both in a bath with all the rest of the salt.

OK y'all! Quick chicken questions. I mentioned I got a surprise cackle box the not knowing kills me. So I've got three golden spangled appenzueller spitzhaubens and this little guy that I absolutely can't I identify.

So the irony of coming back after 3 years MIA I now legit work in an old folks home lol! I'm a nurse over 40 nursing home residents that I adore! Just thought that was funny!

I remember you and congratulated you when you finished nursing school. Hope your career is progressing nicely. Sorry about your mom... that fate awaits us all at some point... Glad to have you back with us! Seems you jumped right back into poultry with that number of birds!
Ya I thought that a cackle hatchery surprise box was the way to go. But I love all my chicks!! I also have three Californian rabbits, with one doe supposed to kit any day now. Thank you for the condolences on my mom I dont know why I handled it so well in the beggining and then it hit me about a year in but luckily I have a great husband that just stood by and caught me when I fell. My kids are doing super good they are now 10,8,and 6 and getting ready for school to start. I missed this group thats for sure!!

I should get going too. It would be cool (and so, so helpful) if we could just plug ourselves in. :D
That would be awesome, but we would miss our dreams. I was just dreaming about being 17 again. Actually stopped traffic in Rome wearing my hot pants and halter top! The nuns were crossing themselves! Oh, to look like that again!

The funeral company had my Dads remains for quite a while. The day of the funeral, i was dressed in black and on my way to pick up relatives when i got a call. They forgot to cremate him! So we had to postpone to the next day! Can you imagine? Do not use Browns Funeral home in Bradenton, FL, they are idiots!

I just cracked out my new blood sugar testing kit and omg...it's been a while since my last set...lol. Things are a lot smaller...and I made certain to get the ultra fine lancets. Well, they're a lot finer than the fine I used to have...:lau I probably could've made due with the regular ones...I don't really feel any pain from these...lol. That's a good thing though. I really need tinier fingers to pick up the test strips. Wow. When they say on the side "small and portable"...they aren't joking.
......:th
you made me feel guilty now I have to find where I left my kit last
