The Old Folks Home

I am down to only two pairs of pants...one pair that has slight visibility of my rear, and one pair that is still solid but has a couple of half cuts on the front legs.
Front legs hunh.... Been around the goats too long......

I just had the nicest experience with Chewy.com.

I ordered cat food and cat litter the other day. It arrived in 48 hours and when I opened it I realized I had ordered the wrong cat litter. With 5 cats we use clumping, Purina 24/7. I ordered non clumping by mistake so I called them. Talked to a lovely young woman named Melody, explained the problem. Asked if I could get a return authorization if I ordered the right litter and then they could refund me the wrong litter amount when they got it back.

Not only did she refund my money, but she told me no problem. I didn't have to return the mis-ordered items, just donate them to a local rescue/shelter, whatever I wished. I asked if I could donate them to our vet and she said perfect!

Such a refreshing encounter in today's world where usually when you screw up, you are SOL.

Definitely buy from them. You won't be disappointed.

Some stuff is slightly higher but when we figure in the time and gas spent driving into the nearest city, which is Kirksville, for us, it's a pretty sweet deal. We have a kitty that eats Science Urinary care. Their price and Orscheln's is the same as is the Purina our other cats eat. You can't get any specialty diets or cat food that is high protein in our town, nor can you buy large bags of high quality food. I bought a 4 pound bag of Purina the other day at the local C&R for 6.50. I think I paid 16 and change for a 13 pound bag of Purina indoor high protein.

I find that as we get older, I'm willing to pay a little extra for not having to get out on our gravel roads in bad weather and good customer service. Shopping is getting harder and harder for me. This sure makes life easier for us.

If I could get MFA to deliver my chicken feed for less than 35 dollars a delivery I'd be doing that also.

I was just telling my husband the other day that it was time to start figuring what I was going to have to stock up for over the winter months. We buy our cleaning and paper products from Quill. 2 day delivery to the door, and as much as I hate to admit it, over winter, we buy as much from Wally World as we can . Free shipping over 39 ( or is it 49 ) dollars and fast delivery. We swore we would never shop at Wally world. .....never say never.
