OK... so my question is how are all you folks making ANY clothing last more than 6 months? 
I find that simply astounding! I admit I do have a few T-shirts that are "serviceable" that are over a year old, but those are the Sunday go-to-meeting T-s that never (rarely) get worn because I don't go-to-meetings.
I can't get a pair of jeans to last more than ~6 months... At that point they are perfectly religious (hole-y), near see through, and basically thread bare. I buy jeans in pairs (or threesomes) so I can alternate them through the washing cycle every so often (and still have the/an other pair since washing can take over a week
). With three pair, I can avoid doing laundry for almost a month!
T-shirts on the other hand are pretty much one time use items as they get sweat soaked.
Of course I don't spend big $$ on clothes either... I don't buy the Carhart brand or any of the other name brands. I buy the cheap stuff as I know I'll destroy it in no time at all.
