The Old Folks Home

I am definitely building up my arm muscles with all this building. Used to haul 50 pound bags of feed all the time when we had the farm. Darned company we bought the storage buildings from is going to be at least a week late delivering. Getting tired of covering the Mule with tarps. Plus i could be building things and painting stuff inside even if it rains.
The guys we used to survey the property finally finished the job! They were contacted by us in early June! Just absurd. They would work for a bit then take off for weeks. Now DH can finish putting up fence.

I used to get everyday jeans from the thrift shops for my girls. They were not for school, or going out in public, and were to be donned immediately when they came home from school. They were cheap enough, each of the girls had multiple pairs. Only getting 1 or 2 pairs, they take too much of a beating, especially because of washing them so often. Goodwill T-s were cheap enough too. Something I learned, with both Goodwill, and the thrift shops, was to go every couple of weeks, when new stock would be put out.

Growing up, my brother was really hard on the knees of his jeans. Before he would mess the knees up, my mother would take an old pair of jeans, cut a couple good sized patches from them, turn the good jeans inside out, and use iron on tape to put in the knee patches. Since the patch was ironed into the inside, it did not show, and provided double thickness in the knee area. When he got older, she did that in the pocket area too.

OK Peep... I'll "bite"... Why were you looking for sex toys at a thrift shop? They are easily found and purchased online :duc:oops::lau

To be honest, not looking for them. I've just never seen them there. I dunno. Maybe they have a secret back room like at the video stores.... (I hope not! Ewwwww-squared)

Uhmm, no joke, my brothers gf works for a company called Pure Romance, yeah they sell other stuff also, but , dang, can't believe there's such a market for such stuff. The other than, beauty products, moisturizers (normal stuff) super expensive, don't even know what the other stuff costs. She makes more selling that stuff than she'd make for the job she went to college for, RN. $65,000+ a yr which is super high here, we're rural, dang, I can't even imagine who's buying such stuff, a lot is online I guess? She and my youngest bro even get paid for trips for seminars a few times a yr, Vegas, Orlando, Cancun, ... huh
DW says it's probably like her cousin that made the same with Avon, got a car, trips, $$ them it tapered off and nothing.
IDK? Your selling what?
Seriously?
