Yeah, it's devilishly good. It's an old Pennsylvania Deutch recipe that my dad's mom gave to my mom. Mom always jokingly said it was the best thing her MIL ever gave to her. I said, what about dad? Mom said I repeat, it's the best thing she ever gave to me.

I am positive thinker no doubt pie crust chilling in the fridge blackberry pie tonight will pick more for trade at food for the chickens we get raspberry from them take blackberry to them nice folks

Our blackberries are pretty spotty right now but hopefully we can pick a bunch by the weekend.
Guy at work gave me a big bag of peaches from a branch that snapped off his tree.
Told DW to make a peach pie. They were not quite ripe and not much meat on them so she took what she did cut up, added fresh picked blueberries from our bushes and fresh cherries from the store. Made two peach/blueberry/cherry pies and they were darn yummy.

OK, anyone eat greasy beans or cut short beans?
Planning next yrs garden. There's a few things I want from SandHill and I see they have greasy cut short beans.
Are they really as good as they say, better than regular green beans?

Got the electric fence up. Hope it fries that ground hog. It is a 10 mile charger and just hooked up around my little patch of garden. So tired of it eating my garden. The neighbor said one ate their garden too. Die, ground hog!

Oh, and i painted the inside of the coop today. One coat, all done. It was dreadfully hot and humid with a feels like temp of 100!
