The Old Folks Home

Ducks are incredibly happy creatures. I find them very personable and enjoy having them even though they're completely disgusting.
I did not like geese.

Ducks at the new locale. I was only able to get the 3 herded into the enclosure, then into the house. Then the other two finally went into the enclosure, then all into the house. They will be there until tomorrow morning.

This is the pile of muck left over after moving the duck house and fence. It's legitimately 6 inches of cesspool. And the entire time we were moving the fence and duck house, they were in it, playing with it. Uggh.

Mine were like that dinosaur in the first Jurassic Park that killed Dennis... they got scared of me and regurgitated their food at me. I suspect they would have eaten me as well if they could.
I have read about guard geese--UPS delivery people were scared of them! I wonder if it was because of the puke? Do all geese do that?

I lived on a lake for about 12 years here in Washington state had canadian geese taught my belgians get the geese as they would crap all over the place hated them
I did the same with Muscovy ducks in Florida. They would come and poop all over the front yard and sidewalk . My Papillon, Jenny, had a passion for chasing them. They learned to avoid our house.
