Congratulations to both getaclue and microchick...I was going to mention both when I got caught up to the end of the thread...but you beat me to it getaclue. Why @getaclue I thought you ALWAYS had that badge! Seriously, you are like that next door neighbor I wished I had who shows up at the back door with a tray of brownies and sits at the table and talks with me over cups of coffee to go along with those brownies!
Sincere congratulations! I didn't even know about mine till I logged in and checked my Alerts. My response was "Whaaaaaaaaaat? Man I gotta check in more often!"
I was watching the awards thread..lol.

Happy Thanksgiving!Congratulations to both getaclue and microchick...I was going to mention both when I got caught up to the end of the thread...but you beat me to it getaclue.I was watching the awards thread..lol.
Congratulations to everyone I have missed congratulating in the past as well.
I may have been a bit late at catching on to the process.![]()
Medium rare yum!
I really like baked beans with hot dogs cut up in them. I also like 9 bean soup and especially with a ham bone cooked along with. Kinda like Navy bean soup also. I also have had some sort of bean and barley type soup that was very creamy and delish. No idea what it was or how to make it. Not a big fan of just black beans or pinto beans, but do like the big red kidney beans in my chili. I know "real" chili doesn't have beans in it, but I like them.

Thank you! I'm so slow...I didn't realize it was "this" weekend until later on today. So I motored to town to get bread and a couple of things since the stores will likely be empty on Sunday. We're busy combining soybeans...lol.Happy Thanksgiving!

Our forecast for the next rain has showers likely every day. We need it, just hope we don't get too much!So just called up NOAA weather radar and the hurricane is about to make landfall centered on the Mississippi coast. That means Alabama and the FL panhandle are going to get nailed on the eastern side. Doesn't look like much over New Orleans. But the same area that got devastated by Katrina. Hope folks down that way are safe.
All this bean talk....
And for some reason I now want to watch "Blazing Saddles"

Like father like son......He said it was impressively horrid...but he wasn't about to waste good port...so finished it up.![]()
