That is also true. The apples oxidize in the air, and using the lemon juice changes the reaction. Any lower pH acid will slow this process.
Thanks. I could tell when I mixed it in the sugar and coated all the pears.

Well yeah! You blocked their view of the world!!The cats, rather one of them, has shredded 2 of the 10 inserts.

I tried that last year, straw in an old car tire. All the potatoes (< 3 pounds) grew in the dirt. Maybe I need to "plant" the potato eyes in the straw with NO dirt?? I also planted 3 well rooted sweet potato slips on tires. Got almost nothing.I want to grow potaotes! I will need to do they straw method though. Our soil has a lot of clay here.
Merek's is an environmental disease right? If so, I guess you would not ever be able to bring in new chicks from a hatchery?Losses are still going to happen until I'm left with truly resistant birds and that's okay.
Easy bake?

No, regular 2 pane. However, they're still cold when you stand next to them. This also helps with the air flow around the window (it isn't always airtight).
When you do the straw bale thing you have to add fertilizer and maybe other stuff to the soil. Did you do that Bruce?Well yeah! You blocked their view of the world!!
Maybe you need "ex-serts".

Had the same problem with cold double pane windows at the old house, but worse because when it was redone it was too tight. We had to wipe the windows down every morning until about January if we closed the double cell shades. They did a fine job of keeping the heat away from the glass. Hot water baseboard heat. At this house it is the opposite. Woods stove and forced air, need to run a humidifier.
at 8+ months. Laying regularly. I'm going to bring in a few more vaccinated chicks this spring as I want to get a male for my two little ladies. My bantams crosses are less than half the size of a standard male but larger than a pure bantam. My smallest boy has been courting the two little ladies but even he is a little over the top for them.I dug OLD horse manure and stall shavings (been in the pile at least 6 years, from before we bought the house). I may have added some 'paca poo as well but probably not since I had the well composted stuff. When you do the straw bale thing you have to add fertilizer and maybe other stuff to the soil. No, that might help but i was reading and you add so much of a certain type of pelleted fertilizer. I took the book back to the library but i am sure you could find the info on the internet.I dug OLD horse manure and stall shavings (been in the pile at least 6 years, from before we bought the house).
