The Old Folks Home

The snow depth unshoveled is best described by mid thigh at the moment. This might be the last time I get out to the wild bird feeders this winter.

Came back inside couldn't find the dog after a few minutes of frantic searching she was on the bottom of a cat tree sleeping.

I know it's a bad word But the old Roundup for poison ivy and tough brush, really worked. It even killed English buckthorn that is invasive here. I see they came out with a new roundup weed killer with fertilizer for grass. I tried it - killed grass, weeds were fine.
Did you know farmers are using so much roundup that it is now in our food supply? I never use the stuff.

Cap, that is why many are so concerned about modified grains, like corn. Monsanto has grains, corn, soy, wheat, that is resistant to round up. Farmers can spray round up for weeds, and not kill their crop. The problem is, the grain absorbs some of the round up too, so it's getting into our food supply.
