The Old Folks Home

I have antique rag wool sweater dark forest green open at the neck 3 buttons
my go to on cold days
My dad had, probably still has a plaid wool coat old one. Buttons were the size of quarters, buttons lol. Heavy but warmest coat I've ever wore, windproof, waterproof and warm. I only wore it a few times. It actually was good camouflage even though it was red and black plaid, really small tight pattern, remember once dad was on the ridge above me walking through and I only noticed him because of his hands and face the coat blended in.

I have a Dickey coat bought it this year great coat like it well just enough pockets
but black 2 of the outside cats they must think we were to have awful cold winter they are like twice their size in hair soft and matting so their I am tonight combing these poor kitties both little angles for me got Moe all done no more mats, Curly not quite all but worked on him 1/2 hour straight up around ears and mouth got the right side down around his mouth still need the left one and one of his chest but he was crying the last part I was pulling hard I let him go

around?

Snowblowed yesterday, cleaned and chored for 8 hours, got pellets and furnace fixed, took the dog to the vet, slept really really well then woke up to discover another 3 inches of snow.

:barnie

Who has fun weekend plans? I hope to finally finish my loon runner today (just needs binding) and to start on another baby quilt. It was supposed to be my last one (third this month) but Thursday another friend told me she was pregnant, too. It's like there's nothing to do around here except sew baby blankets.

He takes him into town with him for lunch and a beer at the local bar and then atv's back home with the dog still keeping up with him.
I'm surprised they serve beer to the dog. At least it doesn't over imbibe and can make it home on his own 4 feet.
