The Old Folks Home

and weighed myself today with my steel toe boots and work radio on
You know, MOST people at least take their shoes off when they weigh themselves ;)

No, and the representatives our provider sends out here just kind of shrug and act like, "what do expect from a WiFi signal?"
Um, maybe signal?????
- How far is it from the router to the end of the house?
- 1 or 2 story house? If 2, the router should be on the second floor. And it should be in the center of the house unless all the users are on one end or the other.
- Does the router have external antennae? Ours (phone co supplied DSL router) started dropping out, they sent us a new one. It has 2 external antennae, the other had none. Of course the speeds are fastest on my wife's hardwired computer but wi-fi signal on the other computers ~30'+ distant aren't much slower.

Hi guys! Busy day here. Set down several times and tried to catch up. Finally gave up.

@perchie.girl Hope the Gabapentin helps you. I take it also. Shingles, Lyme probable RA, it all mounts up. I just take it at night and it really helps the hip and leg pain I have. It does have a cumulative effect though. Personally I notice that it affects my balance and gives me an ultra dry mouth if I have to take extra for very long.

@Bunnylady ultra cute babies. Congratulations!

As for having battle scars, the way I look at it, it's a sign that we have enjoyed life. I owned horses and rode for 10 years. Picked myself up off the ground more than once, but I always got up laughing and threw my leg back over the saddle again. Horses are just funny that way. If they don't want you on their backs,you ain't gonna stay on their backs. So I have my fair share of tweeked knees and shoulders. Then there is dirt bike riding. Yep, they could be horses with wheels.

We have two old school diesel cars, a VW Jetta and a Mercedes. They will be running when the new cars are sitting dead to the world if there is ever an EM pulse. We keep thinking about getting newer old school but heck, these still run good and the Jetta gets over 50 MPG. We would never get that lucky again.

I rode from when they first put me on a horse think I was 6 been thrown a few times most my damage is unruly dogs that weighed more than me trying to say no... Recall one broke my right arm.. car wrecks never with me driving whiplash like 6 times sever... they have said one day I will unable to move as the column totally closes but will go down kicking and screaming

Most people don't weigh themselves at work on a calibrated pallet scale.... lol
Lot's of them do where I work also, always see someone stepping up on it. It's called the 'pig food scale' Lol. Big stainless pallet tanks get weighed on it to track waste. It's pretty accurate.
