The Old Folks Home

I will if i can find it! Maybe its ok now, it was right after i took them out of the bator. I just took 2 more out of the bator, and here they are! 20180321_185211.jpg 20180321_185151.jpg 20180321_185138.jpg
They will not sit still a second! These are huge for new hatch quail!

How is Solo doing??
She seems fine, eating , drinking, pooping... thanks for asking. Me, i am just beat today. I could go right to sleep except i have to close pop doors and check the bunnies.

Cap those are the cutest little things. I love quail. Last year I heard a cock bob white crowing every evening. It was the first I've heard here in 10 years. I love the sound of their call.

Did these hatch out of the new incubator?

Hope everyone in the way of that latest Nor-easter is battened down and staying safe. We had our first sunshine here in 6+ days today. My seedlings must have grown an inch. Of course the wind was brisk and out of the north west which made it seem about 20 degrees colder than it really was.

I had no trouble out of Dh today, when I insisted the kids keep all food, and drink at their table. Come to find out, he knew how bad the floors were. He doesn't like the tile floors, so he wears socks around the house. His socks were sticking to the floor. He didn't like it. It helped him understand the reasoning behind my rules. Now that the floors are clean again, he's much more cooperative about enforcing the rules. See, you can too teach an old dog new tricks!

Wow lot's going on here glad everyone know what the diagnosis is or on the road to knowing ... sound like floors are fixed for the better we continue to find hardwood under
all floor coverings here compliments of Moose penchant for vinyl so it seems
actually he is just a licker always liking he will will lick holes in rugs and has done this the 5 yrs I have had him

Would "Bitter Apple," stop Moose? Or maybe some Cayenne pepper. Just a bit sprinkled can put them off. After getting a whiff up their nose they change their mind about what they want to do. Works great even outside for me except have to replace after rain or high winds.
