The Old Folks Home

Don't drive to Maine, snowing here, too. I'm trying to be optimistic. I dislike mowing the lawn. Usually we don't have to do it until June. Maybe this year we can push that back to July.
Next week we go up to 85 for highs with lows in the 50s.

Yep! I have been mowing the lawn for a month now and will need to turn on the sprinklers soon

I finally wound up clipping her wings. Every time I chased her back to the coop I would find her sitting innocently on one of the roost bars.
 Who me??? I've been here all day mom!

Yeah right, escape artists. If there is a hole in the top of the run, they find it.
Think of them as your predator control testers. If they can get out a coon can get in.

The naked necks I don't know why but never fly.
Too embarrassed to be seen outside. Get them some neck gaiters.

Still snowing here, not much but snow and *28.
Really thinking of packing up, strapping a snow shovel to the roof, and driving until someone asks what it is,
Given the winter we had all over the south (and still have here!), you probably have to go WAY south.
We got about 2" overnight.

ARGGG Misty, now I'm conflicted! :barnie You say to "remove all that is unimportant", and follow that up with "Focus on... others"? What if "others" are unimportant? :barnie:oops:;)

It's sort of like the lecturer I heard once that said once a week write own all your worries and a month later look at them. You will be surprised to see how the majority of your worries were really nothing to be worried about and resolved on their own.

I was looking at passion flower pics this morning and the plants have such beautiful flowers. I bought a purple one from a nursery in FL this morning.
Do any of you got them or have any of you tried them?
I don't know anything about them except they are beautiful. Lol
I told dh I want to grow it behind the garden on the fence. He's worried it will pull the welded wire fence down that we just put up for the cows.

I grew those in FL. I doubt it would be heavy enough to pull down a fence, its not woody like Wisteria.

Poor Maddy fell in gym and busted her front teeth. DD is on the way from the school to the emergency room with her now and her dentist is meeting her there. More info as I receive it.
oh no! those are permanent teeth aren't they? :hugs hoping the fix is easy. :fl
