@perchie.girl do you use gimp? Can you do the words like she needs?

I can do it with a drafting board.... but when I try something like that with Corel the software assumes I want the letters to be upside down on the lower archs.

The ONlly way I can do the lower is to key in the letters straight one by one then hand place them on the lower arch.

I dont know how to turn them into vectors for transfer to a digitial image for her computer to follow for making the letters.... Sofware for that stuff is very intriquate.... especially for filled in letters that require certain directons for the thread...

@dsqard figured out how to do it in power point.

Now I just need to get it blown up enough.

send me the image full size aand your final requirements.... Text, font and placement

The arches are easy peasy .... YOu can find them by either chord measurement or projecting the two lines from the ends to their intersection.... Now you can draw the diameters of each circle or ellipse....

Circles can also be found by clicking on three points of an arch...

Ellipses are a bit different... they are formed by two arch sizes

I worked until 2 piddling around. Removed four more bushels of bedding from the bantam coop, got that done and discovered one of the cockerels was loose. Ran him down and tried to figure out how Houdini got out. Told him he was lucky our Jack Russell mix wasn't out or his sorry butt would be toast. Still haven't found out how he got out.

Then took two hours off and did absolutely nothing other than lay on the sofa and watch Cloverfield, one of my all time favorite, destroy Manhattan movies.

Now heading back out to see if Geek is still where he is supposed to be.

Glad you got the program figured out SGC. You are not dumb. You are like a lot of us, computer drafting program challenged.

If you have power point, you likely have publisher. Power point is for projecting slides in a presentation. It is not very good as sizing for printing.

Publisher is a desktop publishing progrgram

Yeah, roosters, can't live with them.....no wait, you can kill them!

I'm taking my time sorting out my extras. So far it's a strange lot to say the least. I have two that escaped the bachelor pen and made their way to the fluffy butt pen. One just putters around and is no trouble. The other has fought his way to the top, a little squirt of a rooster who has lost half his feathers but has the biggest rooster running for his life. Another snuck over today sometime. He's behaving himself also.

One that I expected to behave himself, beat up my youngest welsummer/Buff O/bantam cross rooster. I'm now treating him for a lacerated cornea and he will probably be blind in that eye if he survives. In the mean time the rooster I expected to behave himself is a perfect angel....a slightly beat up angel but an angel. It's like, he won the fight but lost the war.

I probably have 10 I need to get rid of. Once the youngsters get big enough to be turned loose I plan to leave the two gentlest roosters with them to teach them the ropes and move the rest of my breeding stock in where the bachelors are now. Crunch time.

I printed screen in power point, went to paint, cut it out, expanded and printed it. Got it all but the background arcs .
