Our Ford Focus has the "tire light" that seems to light-up whenever the temps fluctuates. Really cold to a sudden warm-up or the other way around. If we're headed home, we cranked up the air compressor and check all the tires. If we're on the road, we find a place where we can add some air or let some out depending.
Gotta love the new auto technology...NOT!

Our tire light stays on. One sensor went out going through a mud puddle years ago. We just keep an eye on the tires. No biggie.

You guys jinxed me. DH greeted me this morning that my car has a nail sticking out of one of the back tires. Sure enough, looks like it went into the tread, stayed in the tread and popped out the outside of the tread. At least it isn't flat and DH thinks he can push it back through., but not the way to start the morning.

Always a good idea to check tires a few times a month run your hand over them
I use to drive from one end of the country to other almost always driving had my rear left dually cross the freeway coming down with a boom on my 32 ft class C but kept the unit up and the trailer 16 foot utility still behind where it belonged

Hubby got my tire fixed, it had a small screw in it. It was just a slow leak but pia to keep putting air in it.
My face is a bit tender after the surgery yesterday, but not too bad.

Try not to mess with it but make sure no swelling or ick either
